Erica Nunn Assisted Living Ombudsman Texas Department of Health and Human Services

Erica Nunn is the Assisted Living Ombudsman for Texas’ State Long-term Care Ombudsman Program. She grew up in the Austin area and has been serving Texans with disabilities for over 20 years. She attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development/ Youth and Community Studies. Her work background includes providing direct care for residents, determining eligibility for programs, and policy development. Prior to joining the Ombudsman team, she had been working in Medicaid and CHIP Services, overseeing provider policy for waiver and block grant programs such as Adult Foster Care, Residential Care and Day Activity Health Services, to name a few.
