TORCH offers State of Texas Certifications for Assisted Living Managers

Regulations Training

Completion of Session I meets the State’s requirement for an 8-hour Regulations course for assisted living managers.

Continuing Education

TORCH’s Session II (continuing education session) meets the State’s requirement for 12 hours of annual continuing education training. See our Courses page for more details on the Sessions.

Certificates are presented at the completion of the training. The certificate clearly states the topics that were covered, and shows that the State’s training requirements were completed.

CALM Certification

Completion of Session III meets the State’s requirement for a 24-hour certification course for assisted living managers. Completion of this session designates the manager as a “Certified Assisted Living Manager (CALM)”. See our Courses page for more details on the Sessions.
