As a senior loan officer, Shep Harris originates new loans, packages SBA and USDA loans, and evaluates new loan applications for the senior care industry. Before joining Live Oak Bank in 2015, Shep worked for five years at Branch Bank and Trust, where he spent time in small business financial analysis and lending. His duties included the initial underwriting of new loan proposals, structuring deals, and reviewing corporate tax returns. He received his BS in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Tanner Landry is co-founder of Timeless Care Homes in Fort Worth, now in its fourth year, where Love Leads Here and a five-star hotel concierge standard guide every decision. His path to senior care began personally: helping his father navigate healthcare, then finding a small care home for his father’s final months in 2017. That experience revealed both a critical need and his calling. Before care homes, he spent four years in creative real estate and fifteen years running a recording studio, on top of a lifelong foundation in his family’s interior design business and a knack for tech and systems development. He also created the Built for Care App, a resource hub and community for vetted care home and ALF operators.

Brenda Sajewski is a retired educator and volunteer for the North Texas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, where she serves as a community educator and support group facilitator. Her passion for this role comes from a personal connection to the disease through the loss of her mother.

Gail Snider has served as a key leader of Dementia Friendly Fort Worth since its founding, building community partnerships and impactful programs. Motivated by her own experience caring for a loved one with dementia, she works to reduce stigma and promote inclusion for people living with dementia and their care partners. A Certified Dementia Practitioner and certified Dementia Live® Coach, she trains families, healthcare professionals, first responders, and community members, including more than 1,400 law enforcement cadets at the NCTCOG Regional Police Academy. In July 2025 she received the Mildred O. Hogstel Award for excellence in education regarding older adults.

Drew Campbell has roughly thirty years of lobbying experience. He began representing the Associated Motor Carriers of Oklahoma and went on to spend twenty-five years as CEO of the New Car Dealers Association of Metropolitan Dallas, where he built relationships with business and political leaders at the local, state and federal levels and served as the automobile industry’s regional and national spokesperson. As founder of Capitol Insights, he has represented clients in finance, transportation and manufacturing.

Dr. Melissa Petersen is an Associate Professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth in the Department of Family Medicine and Institute for Translational Research. As a clinically trained neuropsychologist, her research focuses broadly on factors related to cognitive decline, with a specific emphasis on Alzheimer’s disease. She is involved in several NIH-funded aging studies, including the Healthy and Aging Brain Study – Health Disparities (Multiple PI) and the Alzheimer’s Biomarker Consortium – Down Syndrome (site PI). Her work has examined how blood biomarkers can help detect early cognitive changes across broad and underserved communities.

Chanelle Reid is CEO of RAZOR and co-founder of Paragon Group. She leads RAZOR’s commercial direction and US market development, connecting business challenges with practical technology solutions. As a business owner and founder of a networking organisation spanning multiple groups, Chanelle brings an entrepreneurial perspective to growth, coordination and the demands placed on owners. Her focus is helping leaders identify where work gets stuck, prioritise improvements and understand the business value of better systems.

Matt Reid is Chief AI Officer at RAZOR, a New Zealand-founded technology company building custom software, system integrations and applied AI solutions for organisations in New Zealand and the United States. His work focuses on making technology useful in everyday operations: connecting information, reducing repetitive administration and helping teams see what needs attention. Matt shows business owners how to assess their existing tools, identify gaps and choose solutions that fit the way their teams work.

Mark Kendall holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree and has been a Licensed Social Worker for more than 30 years. His career includes working for the Mental Health Authority of Harris County and 29 years with Regulatory Services as a Social Services Surveyor, Program Manager, Regional Director, Director of Surveyor Operations for the last four years, and most recently as Associate Commissioner of Survey and Compliance.

Arreale Turner has served as a Long-Term Care Ombudsman for over nine years, advocating for the rights, quality of care, and quality of life of residents in nursing facilities and assisted living communities. She joined the HHSC Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program in April 2026 after 11 years with The Senior Source, most recently as Assistant Director of the Dallas County program. Arreale holds a Master of Science in Health Studies from Texas Woman’s University and is passionate about helping residents understand their rights and have a meaningful voice in decisions about their care.

Suzanna Sulfstede has served as Director of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program at The Senior Source and Managing Local Ombudsman for Dallas County for 21 years. Previously she directed an intergenerational volunteer program at The Senior Source and worked as a nursing home social worker. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington, and is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Texas. She was appointed by the Governor to a Nursing Facility Advisory Committee advising HHSC on nursing facility and Medicaid managed care issues.

Olufunke Okeni is a risk and transformation leader with experience helping organizations navigate complex operations, regulatory demands, and emerging technology. Her background spans global manufacturing, healthcare and financial services, where she has worked at the intersection of risk, governance, technology, and business performance. Today, Olufunke focuses on AI compliance and governance, helping businesses understand how to use artificial intelligence responsibly without creating unnecessary risk. Her work helps leaders put the right guardrails around AI so their organizations can embrace innovation with greater confidence, accountability, and control.

Doris Dike is Managing Partner and owner of Dike Law Group. A former hospital Chief Legal Officer and Compliance Officer, she advises healthcare organizations on regulatory compliance, HIPAA, contracts, and risk management.

Rodney J. Morris is the founder of Workplace Culture Workout LLC, a consulting firm that helps care and service organizations build the hiring systems, leadership habits, and team cultures that keep good people. He is also Chief Strategy Officer and alternate administrator of Hospice Care Partners in Irving, and advises assisted living and memory care operators in the Fort Worth area on staffing, HR infrastructure, and opening readiness. Before senior care, Rodney led talent and education for national fitness brands, including as VP of Talent and National Director of Education at Fitness Connection. He is a licensed Situational Leadership™ trainer, an ATD-certified Integrated Talent Management specialist, and a graduate of Swarthmore College.
