          Dr. Shawn E. Johnson is a board-certified General Orthopaedic and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine surgeon with over 17 years of experience. A native Houstonian now residing in Hempstead, Texas, she served nearly a decade as an active-duty U.S. Army orthopedic surgeon before transitioning to civilian practice and completing her fellowship in sports orthopedics in 2018.

          Dr. Johnson is the founder of Intuition Orthopaedics, LLC dba Austin County Orthopedics, a mobile based practice designed to expand access to care, particularly for elderly and transportation-limited populations. Her patient-centered approach emphasizes injury prevention, clear communication, and collaborative treatment planning to optimize outcomes and build trust.

          With experience across both rural and metropolitan communities, Dr. Johnson continues to advance efficient orthopedic workflows while delivering personalized care where it is needed most.
