           Mackey joined Live Oak Bank in 2016 and is currently a senior loan officer on the senior care team. His focus revolves around construction, acquisition, and expansion in the seniors housing sector. Mackey also lends to home care businesses nationwide. Prior to joining Live Oak, Mackey worked as in-house counsel at M&T Bank for their multifamily lending division, where he focused on government agency regulation, commercial real estate closings, and title work. Mackey earned his BA from Wake Forest University and his JD from The University of Baltimore School of Law.
