FREE Two-Day Geriatric Symposium – Texas Taking the Next Step in August

Texas Health and Human Services Commission, in collaboration with the University of Texas Austin School of Nursing, is hosting a two-day, free event for family members and professionals who work with older adults.

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Medicaid and CHIP Services plan to offer continuing education credit for licensed social workers, registered dietitians, certified nurse aides, ombudsmen, guardianship, assisted living facility managers, licensed nursing facility administrators, nursing facility activity directors, licensed psychology professionals, licensed professional counselors, physical therapists, occupational therapists and home and hospice managers.
