David Ewing has worked in the senior living industry for 22 years for companies like The Covenant Group, Sagora, Capital Senior Living, Cappella Living Solutions, and Franklin Park. David likes to say he started on the concierge desk and worked his way up to an Executive Director position overnight. In truth, David worked in property management for ten years before beginning work in senior living, having experience running Class A & B buildings. He started in senior living to spend more time with his grandfather; working the overnight shift on weekends and never left the industry. His experience in property management helped him transition from what was a part-time role for personal reasons to an Executive Director role and career. At various times he has held a variety of positions from E.D., Regional Director, and Vice-President. He has worked in the Assisted Living industry in Texas, Colorado, Indiana, Ohio and Utah and has seen a cross section of industry regulations. David has opened numerous properties for providers as well as turned around struggling communities. David has taught the assisted living course for Assisted Living Regulatory References and TORCH and has developed additional on-line courses for care givers, maintenance, and on a variety of other topics. David began consulting in 2018.
David is currently an Executive Director with Franklin Apartment Management. He has worked for Franklin Park/Franklin Companies for 11 years.
